Wingham Wildlife Park

Not strictly on the Isle but a mere stone’s throw away is Wingham Wildlife Park. From the big cats in their cages to the free roaming peacocks and chickens – or the penguins as pictured below – there is a really diverse mix of animals to see here. Not only that, once you’re done, there’s a great outdoor play area or if the weather turns on you then there’s an indoor soft play barn to expend any excess time and energy you and your brood may have. Palace Cinema

Joss Bay Surf School

From hourly lessons to entire summer surf schools this is another big hitter for children aged 8-16 (kids must be able to swim 50m unaided to get involved.)
